More high temperatures are due for all of Napa County today.

To cool off, head to the south county, where American Canyon is forecast to be a cool 95 degrees.
AmCan, though, was the county's hottest spot yesterday, as the mercury soared there to 105 degrees.

" This heat wave that we are having is kicking me and my 2 year old in the butt. We only have one AC and it is in the bedroom. That is where we spend most of our days and night. Trying to get to sleep in my house is so impossible right now. I am ready for the cool waether again. Somebody said it yesterday. THIS IS EARTHQUAKE WEATHER "

" It feels cooler today than yesterday, at least at this time of day... "

" Only because no one monitors the hills of east Napa County was Am Can the hottest. Our weather station topped off at 109 yesterday. Today promises to be hotter, since there was no cooling to speak of last night and no breeze this morning. One of my horses flopped on the ground in the heat this morning and seemed reluctant to get up until we brought over the garden hose. I'll tell you, this is not wimp weather. It's another indoor day for me, who loves moving rocks around in 95 degrees, but had a hard time walking to the well yesterday to check the holding tank. I'm getting old. "

" I agree with you Baraki, it feels a bit cooler today in Napa. Yountville however, feels hotter to me though.

" It didn't feel that hot yesterday or today. I don't use A/C. Waste of energy. There's other ways to stay cool than blast the A/C. "

" Just for the record, 112 was the high at my house today. It's a cool 85 or so outside now, 82 in the house. If it would just stay there....and maybe a little rain to wet the parched plants in my yard....? "
