Virginia Martin
VALLEJO - Virginia "Gini" Pearl Cornett Martin, 75, passed away July 24, 2008. Born Dec. 16, 1932, in Oklahoma City, Okla., she graduated from Vallejo High School (1950) and the College of Marin, working as an optician and as an RDA.
She was a founding member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church; a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star; past president of Napa's low vision group and member of Xi Pi Rho Sorority.
She is survived by friend and companion, Ray Nasuti; children, Robert Martin and Joyce Martin; grandchildren, Aryanna Boss, Casey and Kyle Martin, Jennifer Thomson and Sarah Goff, and six great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Roy V. Martin.
A celebration of life takes place Aug. 16, at 11 a.m., at 2349 Yajome St., in Napa.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, OES Endowment Society, or a charity of the donor's choice.
