Jack Daniels
NAPA - John Francis “Jack” Daniels, 82, passed away at home with his entire family at his bedside, on July 29, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born Jan. 25, 1926, in Delta County, Colo., he was the seventh child of Edward M. and Frances H. Beeson Daniels. Raised in the family’s tiny log cabin in the high plateau land of Colorado he grew into a tough and hard-working young man, helping his family tend the small ranch.
Raymond Gleason
NAPA - Raymond “Ray” Paul Gleason passed away July 26, 2008. He was born Aug. 2, 1927, to Lester and Margaret Gleason, in Hampton, Iowa. He moved to Minneapolis at a young age until joining the U.S. Navy in 1944, serving aboard the USS Belleau Wood during World War II.
Clara White
SPOKANE, Wash. - Clara M. White, 91, resident of Napa for 53 years, passed away peacefully at Kimberly’s Cottage Adult Home in Spokane, Wash., on July 30, 2008. She had moved to the area to be near her son and daughter.

ST. HELENA - Nicholas James Bonura died July 23, 2008, after a short illness. He was born Aug. 16, 1935/36, in New York, and grew up in North Chelmsford, Mass. He lived most of his working life as a salesman in San Francisco. His latest residence was St. Helena.
