Does the Silver and Black return to glory this year, or does the team struggle through another mediocre season?
The Oakland Raiders are here in Napa for a few weeks for their annual training camp.
We will provide daily coverage, including blogs, photos and video, but now it is your turn.
Tell everyone what you think your team is going to do in the '80-'09 season.
We'll give you a change to critique every preseason and regular season game also, plus a chance halfway through the season to revise your preseason prediction for the team.

I feel they will have a good season with an 8-8 record considering last years debacle. With the new players the Raiders will play better, but not enough wins to enter the playoffs. "

The Raiders will continue to struggle against the run. This is the achillies heel of the Raiders and has been over the past few years.
Special teams improvements are key to putting the Raiders in contention.
The offense will be sound and effective on the ground with RUNDMC affording the Raiders huge gains on the ground whenever he touches the ball. He adds the dimension that was missing on offense with Lamont Jordan. He opens up great possibilities on offense to make big plays. RUNDMC will be the starter, with Fargas and Bush sharing the relief work on the ground. Bush will return to form and overtake Fargas in the #2 slot behind RUNDMC creating headaches galore for opposing defensive coordinators.
Not only will DMC be effecive running the ball, he will blossom with receptions to the point where the team will need to be sure not to rely completely on his hands, but open up the running game as well.
This ground game in conjunction with a stingy secondary will be the catylist sending Oakland to the AFC playoff slot.
Jamarcus Russell will certainly takeover the QB slot and become an effective field general in the 2008 campaign. Improvements in the passing attack will be huge due to the effects of DMC and BUSH on the ground. Along with the addition of Javon Walker
Janikowski finally pays dividends.
Oakland Clinches the AFC West for the first time in 5 years.
You heard it here first.
